Currently I am in the of migration of Excel 2000 to 2010 version. A functionality that works in Excel 2000 macro, which is not working in Excel 2010 macro.

Problem:

CSV data is not getting displayed correctly in Excel 2010.

I have a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file which is generated through macro in excel 2010 environment. My Regional setting is in Germany (Swi tzerland) and Location is Germany. I am trying to open this file in Excel 2010, all data are getting displayed in first column, not getting displayed as comma delimited. When I change my regional as English (United States) and Location as India, Excel showing the data correctly with comma delimited.

What would be the problem? Is the problem with VBA or with Microsoft Windows settings Microsoft office - regional settings compatibility?

I want  do this functionality with my regional settings as Germany.

Thanks,

Subbiah.

CSV is Text format file.

You can make it by "Open file for" method.

If seperator is not correct you can make Edit context in Notepad ;]
