First, to be clear, it''s a dev unlock, not a carrier unlock (just ran into someone who was confused over that).

Use the Windows Phone Developer Registration tool that comes with the SDK. If you have Win 7, just type in "Developer" after pressing the windows key and you should see it.

Next, you''ll need to launch zune, plug in your phone and then get VS going. You should be able to deploy at that point.
