Hello everyone,

anyone can tell me or give me some clues on how to login into a Windows 10 VM using a Azure AD credentials?

What I did so far:

(1) Set up an AD locally on a Win Server 2019 instance

(2) Created some users

(3) Registered and verified domain on Azure AD

(4) Synchronized all users to Azure Portal using Azure AD Connect Tool

(5) Created some Windows VMs and assigned AD users

(6) I can login at Azure Portal using replicated AD users and see available VMs

(7) Inside the VM, I connected Azure AD using "Office and school"-s.th. to the assigned account

The problem is: I cannot login to that VM using assigned users.

Maybe some background on the use-case might be useful:

Production AD server is located inside a DMZ. Users must be replicated to Azure cloud to let them access some VMs located at Azure.

Can anyone tell me please what's missing on my setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Next, what is the error you are getting when you try to login with a domain account?
