Trying to run the SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard and getting the following error

Failed to initiate the upgrade sequence.
An exception of type Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeException was thrown.  Additional exception information: Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeException' was thrown.
Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeException: Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeException' was thrown.

Upgrade log shows the following:

Upgrade object too new (build version = 14.0.7225.5000, schema version = 4.1.2.0. Current server (build version = 14.0.7175, schema version = 4.1.2.0)

To troubleshoot the issue, check things below:

1. Check the build number in the Central administration. Go to central administration->System settings-> Manage servers in this farm.

2. Then go to the registry to check the build number in the current server. Go to start->run->type "regedit"->find the location below->find "BuildVersion".

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0

3. If the two build numbers are different, then we can modify the registry to the build number in central administration. After modifying the registry, then you should restart the computer.
