Microsoft
SDK 7.0一起使用的SignTool进行测试。

干杯,

I hope someone tells me that I am just stupid or that this is a joke.  Do I really need to use a 1990 era DOS-like command line to simply sign a file?  Didn't Bill say that was gone over 10 years ago?  I'm not trying to be rude or sarcastic.  I'm just in shock that a process like this isn't easier to use.  What happened to the wizard that I read about?

Although I am able to sign a file ok (about hours of experiments and downloading gigbytes of stuff I don't need), I am trying to find help examples (not just the syntax) of real working command lines that let me add descriptions, time stamps, stc that don't seem to work no matter how much I experiment.

Folks, it really shouldn't be this hard to allow this to be done in a GUI interface.  Over 4,000 postings here should be a hint that SignTool is not ready for prime time.

Where can I find a good "how to" guide?

Much thanks for anyone with advice.

Hi,

You can launch the wizard from SignTool by typing : signtool.exe signwizard . Did you use it? This wizard is very modern, handy and it supports adding timestamps and descriptions. Tested with SignTool coming with Microsoft SDK 6.0 and Microsoft SDK 7.0.

Cheers,
